So yesterday was “the Wedding of the Year” which I was supposed to be at. I wasn’t. But the wedding still was. And I missed it. My dear dear friends Mr Muscles and Miss English finally made it to the altar after so long together and so many dramas that their family down here in Oz put them through. They overcame it all and got married over in the UK (hence the reason I wasn’t there). I have no more details on the wedding yet, or photos, but with Miss English’s permission I will put some pics up here as soon as I get them.
I’m having a very nostalgic day today. I was sitting here reading over some old posts and reading all the things I had written about last year, when I was new at the gym and feeling so good and motivated and excited at the prospect of traveling to UK this year to go to “tWofY” and I’m feeling all sad and depressed now, knowing that I have missed out on the most important day of two of my great friends lives. It just makes me so sad. And it makes me hope that they come back to Oz soon, so that I don’t have to miss out on too many more important days in their lives.
But this is not a post of sadness, this is a post of celebration, because two people who love each other so much have made that commitment to spend the rest of their lives together. So again, I just want to say congratulations to Miss English and Mr Muscles, and I’m looking forward to seeing the photos. Come back soon we miss you so much. xoxoxoxoxoxo
