Back to reality

Well I am back home from Denmark. Have been home for a couple of weeks now, but it’s taken me a bit of time to get back into the swing of things. This wasn’t helped I suppose by coming home and then pretty much heading straight off to Renmark for a bit to see Mr Driller. Jet lag has come and gone, and now I’m back at work, and reality has set back in. No more holidays for Tina for a while. Probably no more trips up to Renmark for a while either.

I had an absolute ball over in Denmark. I got to see so many things and do so many things that I would never have tried at home. Tried very hard to keep my blog updated, but it just didn’t happen. I plan on updating it now that I’m home, but that’s going to be a “When I get a chance to do it, I will” thing. I have got so many photos to put up, it’s taking me ages just to go through all those.

As for Renmark, well I spoke to Mr Driller a lot while I was over in Denmark (would hate to see his phone bill) so when he suggested I come up and see him when I get home, I stupidly, said OK. Which was great in a way. Got to spend lots of time with him, and we had a really good time, but I hadn’t seen him in 3 months and was on my way to being over him, but seeing him again has just brought it all back up again, and yeah, so totally not over him. Which has brought me back to square one of the “Getting over Mr Driller” program.

In other news, my fitness is up the creek at the moment. I did so much walking while I was overseas, it was great, but since I have gotten home I have done nothing. So I have decided that I’m going back to the gym and getting serious about this getting fit thing again. It’s been so long since I’ve been to the gym, I’m not sure I even remember the way there, but I really have to get back into it. I just remember how much better I felt with myself when I was losing weight and getting fit, and to be honest, I’ve not felt like that for a long time, and I really want to feel like that again. So I’m going to do something about it!

God, reality sucks!!!!! Bring back the holidays 🙂
