Moving on in the world

Hi everyone sorry it’s been a long time since I posted.  Life took a very hectic turn last week and everything got turned upside down.   My younger sister decided to move house, and asked if I wanted to take over her lease, which I said I would do.  It means I can move, and still keep my dog and get away from my stepfather before one of us killed the other. (Really not that much of an exaggeration).  So we agreed that in 4 weeks she would move out and I would move in.

Well that didn’t happen, and two days later I got a call from my stepmother telling me that she was moving and could I move in that weekend?  I couldn’t, but somehow it got wangled that I was moving this weekend.  So to cut a long (really long) story short, I got my bond together, packed up all my stuff over the last few days and on the weekend I moved into my new unit, which I am officially naming – The Dive!

It really isn’t that great.  It’s pretty shabby, it’s really old and I swear it’s falling apart.  But I just don’t care at this point.  It’s clean, it’s cheap and best of all I can keep my dog.  My baby!  That was enough for me.

So please everyone forgive me for being quiet, and please forgive me for not coming around and commenting on your sites, I’m trying to keep up with everything you are all writing, I just don’t have lots of time to comment.  Busy unpacking at the moment and getting ready for that new year of classes which is starting this week.  Bear with me all for a couple more weeks.
